Slowcooker Chicken & Dumplings

I love recipes that are easy and delicious. You don't have to stand in the kitchen for hours to have a great meal. It's a cool damp winter day in North Carolina; what better to end it with than a warm bowl of chicken and dumplings that you DIDN'T have to slave over for hours. Enjoy!

INGREDIENTS:

  • 3-4 Chicken Breasts

  • 1 Can Cream of Chicken Soup

  • 2 Tablespoons Butter

  • 1 Can of refrigerated Canned Biscuits







INSTRUCTIONS:

  1. Clean and cut chicken breasts into large pieces.

  2. Combine chicken pieces, can of soup and butter in the crock pot.

  3. Cover the ingredients with water.

  4. Cook on low until chicken is cooked.

  5. Tear biscuits into pieces and add to the crock pot. Cook for 30-45 minutes until done.

It is that simple!! We love to wrap up in warm blankets on the sofa, put on a favorite movie and enjoy a bowl of this easy chicken and dumpling from the crock pot. Easy to clean up after too!
