All Eyes On Him

It was God's providence that brought Joseph out of his cell to use the gift God gave Joseph to make him second to Pharaoh in the land of Egypt, but because God is Sovereign, Omniscient and Omnipotent, it was also His providence that allowed Joseph to be sold by his brothers into slavery which led him to Egypt. God did not sin, but He makes all things work for good for those who love Him. Joseph's brothers sinned by their own free will, but God worked through it. Potiphar's wife sinned by her own free will, but God worked through it. He knew about it before it ever happened, and His plan was already weaved through it before time even began. God is not subject to time. You may have felt that people are getting the better of you, but remember God's providence. He's on mission, He has not stepped away. Those who love God will soon come to understand His providence. God's providence is His overall purpose and plan for all of creation. He desires that we join Him in His will, that our will become His will, but even if it doesn't, He is still always three steps ahead. The providence of God is not fate or predetermination. We HAVE been given free will. God doesn't have to control us because He is omniscient, all knowing. He just simply already knows what we will do. God limits Himself only for the purpose of have a relationship with us. Sin has thrust us so far apart, only He can bridge the divide. How Great is our God, that He would stoop down to us just to be loved by and to love us? How Great and Wonderful is He that He would cross the great divide to bring us to Him? My God, He is beyond what our best words can tell. He is a good Father, in the good times and in the bad times, because with God all things are right in the very end. He is the Victor over our enemy and over time. When we begin to understand the attributes and will of God our DESIRES will change, our PRAYERS will change, our FAITH will change, our NEEDS will change, our PEACE will change, and our LIVES will change. You may be going through a trial right now, but God cannot be removed from His throne, and He will have the last word on your behalf. When our will becomes His will, we walk in victory, even when we walk through the valley of the shadow of death. Sometimes things will just fall right into place and we never specifically even asked for it, because we are praying for His will. Sometimes they fall all out of whack, only to be pulled together in the most beautiful way again. God does not tear anything down without the intention of building it better. You, your family, your job, your ministry, your dreams, if they are dashed, they are also rising in Christ. All eyes on Him. Jesus prayed for God's will. To be in agreement with God's will is exactly where God wants us, and truth be told, it is exactly where we 'want' to be whether we feel it yet or not. Watch what He will do. There is nothing, nothing, that He cannot or will not turn around. Be patient. All eyes on Him!

"And patience produces character, and character produces hope. 5 And this hope will never disappoint us, because God has poured out his love to fill our hearts. He gave us his love through the Holy Spirit, whom God has given to us. When we were unable to help ourselves, at the right time, Christ died for us..." - Romans 5:4-6a
