For Every Horn

four horns

Zechariah 1:17-21 "Cry yet, saying, Thus saith the LORD of hosts; My cities through prosperity shall yet be spread abroad; and the LORD shall yet comfort Zion, and shall yet choose Jerusalem. Then lifted I up mine eyes, and saw, and behold four horns. And I said unto the angel that talked with me, What be these? And he answered me, These are the horns which have scattered Judah, Israel, and Jerusalem. And the LORD shewed me four carpenters. Then said I, What come these to do? And he spake, saying, These are the horns which have scattered Judah, so that no man did lift up his head: but these are come to fray them, to cast out the horns of the Gentiles, which lifted up their horn over the land of Judah to scatter it."

There is a day of reformation building through out the body of Christ today. There has been a significant infiltration of compromise and sin in the Christian church but for every horn that rises up with the intention to destroy the body of Christ, God will raise up carpenters to dismantle them. The time before a reformation can seem dark and hopeless, but know that carpenters are coming. Weeping may last for a night, but joy is coming in the morning. God is calling and preparing people who will begin the movement within the church of standing up against these "horns". Don't be discouraged if you are ministering and it seems like no one listens. Some are listening. God is at work. A time is coming. God never leaves nor forsakes us and He will always equip us. When the enemy looks too big, draw ever closer to the Lord. Your proximity to the Lord will affect your faith in His ability to overwhelm the matter.
