Guarding Their Hearts

Guarding the heart

Phil 2:3-4 "Do nothing from selfishness or empty conceit, but with HUMILITY OF MIND regard one another as more important than yourselves; do not merely look out for your own personal interests, but also for the interests of others." >> I woke up at 4:30 this morning having had a dream. The body of Christ was in a worship service and we were singing songs I've never heard before. God was being exalted and worshiped on a greater level than ever, because of the hearts of the people. I'll keep the details of the dream to myself but the overreaching point was that God is looking for UNITY and ONENESS among believers. That takes having genuine (not put on or fake, but authentic) love for one another. Jesus said, "A new commandment I give to you, that you love one another, even as I have loved you, that you also love one another. "By this all men will know that you are My disciples, if you have love for one another." (John 13:34-35) Matthew 24:12 says of the latter days, "...because iniquity shall abound, the love of many shall wax cold." But the body of Christ has been created by the Master, designed if you will, to work in such a way that it holds itself together. The verse at the top in Philippians is some of the iniquity that causes love to wax cold. Guard the heart of the body of Christ. <3
