3-4 cups sifted confectioners' sugar
1/3 cup whole milk
8 oz. of cream cheese, room temperature
2 teaspoon dried culinary lavender
Purple food coloring
INSTRUCTIONS: Bring milk and lavender just to a boil in a medium saucepan over medium heat. Remove from heat and allow to steep for 10 minutes. Strain and discard lavender. Beat in sugar and cream cheese until smooth and stiff, about 5 minutes. Add food coloring until desired color is reached. Use on cupcakes, cakes and cookies. Garnish with a sprig or sprinkle of lavender.
